One folder. Every fact your business runs on.
A company brain is a folder of short text files: who you are, what you sell, who you sell to, how you work, and what you decided. Claude reads it at the start of every session and opens only the files a task needs.

The rule that makes it work: the brain is the source of truth. If chat memory, an old doc or a guess disagrees with the brain, the brain wins.

Four layers, a log, and one folder per client.
Claude reads the index first, then opens only what the task needs. A LinkedIn post needs voice and positioning. A client call needs that client folder plus your process. Small, focused loads keep answers sharp.

Eight steps, about three hours.
Create the folder. On your Desktop, with subfolders 01_identity, 02_knowledge, 03_process, 04_guardrails, 05_log and clients.
Connect it to Claude. In Claude Cowork or Claude Code, so Claude can read and write the files.
Brain dump. Give Claude your website, offer docs, proposals and old SOPs. It sorts every fact into the layers.
Mark every gap. Missing facts get [FILL], unsure ones get [CONFIRM]. A brain full of guesses is worse than no brain.
Write START_HERE.md. The map of which file to use for which task, plus the rules for Claude.
Fill the gaps. File by file, in your own words. 30 to 60 minutes.
Test it. Ask Claude to write your bio and price a tier. A wrong answer gets fixed in the file.
Start the log. Every decision from now on lands in 05_log/decisions.md with a date.
